FOSS: Friends of Shincliffe School

The aim of FOSS is to raise funds to help the school pay for items that they might not be able to afford otherwise and to do this by organising fun activities for the children and their families. Last year FOSS bought a large projector for the school hall, and contributed to the pantomime and Year 6 leavers party. FOSS also provides sports day refreshments and Christmas gifts for the children. Mrs Lowes attends the FOSS meetings so that the needs of the school and FOSS activities can be coordinated.

This year, FOSS hopes to raise money towards a suite of software called Espresso and updating school PCs. We will also be funding a production of "Charlotte's Webb" by the M&M Theatre and hope to provide additional funds to support arts and creativity as the school hopes to achieve Artsmark status.
